Beef Sukiyaki

I randomly bought a new camera today, its the Canon G10! and i'm in love with my camera! its awesome, it takes pic's just like a DSLR but its so compact yet so retro looking!

this pic was taken with my new G10- this was our dinner (ben and i), i cooked Beef Sukiyaki and suprisingly taste so yummy!!! we finished every last piece of it

if wanted to know how i made it:

1. 200grams of beef -cut it wafer thin.... fry it until brown
2. add 2cups of water
3. add in 4.5 Tbsp Soysauce, 6tsp mirin, 6tsp sugar and 6tsp sake
4. add in vege...here i only used shredded carrot (ran out of ingredients)
5. cook for 5 mins
6. ready to serve with a bowl of steamed rice

as you see that my list of main ingredients are only beef and carrot, there are other ingredients that are only available in japanese supermarkets which obviously coventry doesnt have ...so
:P but it still taste AWESOME!

KILL ME LANDLORD FOR ME!

The worse thing that could happen to me at this moment, in the middle of all my stupid courseworks is the threat of being KICKED OUT OF THE HOUSE! (sorry bout the caps, just had to express my anger)

Basically, the situation is that a Mortgage Advisor came by last night to find out about the situation of the house because my landlord has not being paying his mortgage since the end of last year and they have not being able to get in touch with him - my landlord is REALLY weird- apparently he doesnt have a phone anymore, he sent us a letter saying, if we need to contact him, we need to write to him! like what decade does he live in? and he's not like 80 or something, he's like 40 with a family -lil kids! ..... doesnt he sound dodgy already?????????

so we gave the mortage advisor the contact number for my landlords wife because thats the ONLY way we can contact him, and they NEVER reply unless they want money from us!

we've paid the rent till mid-may! and we were thinking of extending the rent till aug so we can finish our exams!!!

so
if landlord doesnt pay
banks gonna reclaim the house
and we'll end up on the streets

bank will write to us if they decide to take any action, so hopefully we hear from them soon, hopefully our friend joe is moving to Coventry in march so we can look for a place to move to...

this had been on my mind all day ..... it's distracting me from writting my very crappy essay

No one is posting on this blog! i'm so sad!!!!!

well anways, i was just extremely bored from working on my Managing Organizations essay so i decided to look around the blog and then surf the net for like 5mins lol, i'm such a lazy-bum!

MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING SOON!!!

It's Snowing in COVENTRY!!!and i watched INKHEART today!

It suddenly snowed for like 10mins today in Coventry!

It snowed for like 1 day back in early November and it hasnt snowed since!

I love watching snow fall but i don't particularly enjoy walking around in snow because
its so slushy here and my clothes and bag gets wet!

I've taken some pics of the table at my balcony and also the wooden plank going on the wall! lol i dont know the name of it.

I also watched Inkheart with Ben at Odeon today in Coventry! It's actually pretty good.... we turned up late for the movie so i didn't get the complete picture of the story. Reason why we turned up late is because usually the movie starts late! like 30mins late, we usually turn up 15mins after the movie is supposed to start, and end up waiting for like forever. today we turned up no more than about 10-15mins late and the movie had already started!!!!
On the whole, THUMBS UP to Inkheart! it's kinda like a fairytale+bad people etc =P so it's not like a girly movie or anything

btw CHIHUAHUA and also BrideWars is coming up soon this month! I cannot wait to watch both of them! i LOVE DOGS! and the theme song for chihuahua is awesome! and Bridewars has Anne Hathaway!which i love all movies she's been in!

Ben and i was also being healty for lunch today- we ate cucumber sticks dipped in a mayo+ketchup sauce which i must say is really healty for us! lol, but dinner we pigged out on NANDOS!!! i'm sorry! lol didnt stick to the plan =P but we're going gym tomorrow after uni and grocery shopping after, i promise to buy healthy food, i was thinking about steaming some fish =P

does anyone have any dieting easy to make dishes?

Hi, I am currently doing a lot of reading and thinking of ways to write my essay. I had a lot of fun in London at the countdown. We should find sometime to do our podcast. We should do it again sometime.

I am going to watch Inkheart this afternoon with Nat later so do expect a review sometime soon.

i really wish we saw it live, well we did see like parts of the fireworks when it went really high up and we could kinda see it from the top of the building! lol

maybe next year we should go there like 4 hrs in advance instead of 1 hr, lol =P
